About Me
Dr. Ooi Kok Loang, CMIIA, CIA, a graduate of AIMST University with a BSc (Hons) in Finance & Management, has achieved remarkable success in the fields of audit, consulting, academia, and legal studies.
Embarking on his career at KPMG, a prestigious global audit firm, Dr. Ooi, excelled as an auditor and business consultant, specializing in governance and sustainability. His expertise in corporate operations and risk management proved invaluable in tackling intricate business challenges. Concurrently, he pursued Master's and Ph.D. studies at University Sains Malaysia (USM), further enriching his academic repertoire. His commitment to staying at the forefront of industry practices and theory has established him as an expert in his field. Additionally, he has obtained the Professional Member status with the Institute of Internal Auditor Malaysia after passing the CIA exams. He has also acquired the Certificate of Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School.
Dr. Ooi went on to establish his own consulting firm, where he offers strategic counsel to organizations seeking operational enhancement and proficient risk management. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of Programme Director at a prestigious private university in Malaysia, where he showcases remarkable leadership in shaping the academic curriculum and ensuring the delivery of top-notch education. Fueled by his passion for legal studies, Dr. Ooi is currently pursuing a second master's degree, specializing in Business Law - the LLM (Business Law).
