DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARDS

Our alumni bring us immense pride. We are thrilled to witness the remarkable personal and professional achievements of our graduates. AIMST University acknowledges and honors these impactful accomplishments through the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Awards. The objective of the Distinguished Alumni Awards is to celebrate the outstanding graduates of AIMST University. Awardees will have showcased exceptional accomplishments in both their professional and personal spheres, serving as a source of inspiration for fellow alumni, current students, and the wider community.

This prestigious award recognizes AIMST graduates who have shown personal and professional achievements throughout their lifetime and continue to make significant contributions to their profession, their community and the University as follows:

  • AIMST University Career: The nominees must be a graduate of AIMST University, having received a Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from AIMST University at least Ten (10) years prior to the nomination.
  • Professional/personal achievement: The nominees must have distinguished himself or herself through achievement or advancement in his or her career, earned degrees, professional training, professional recognition and/or made outstanding contributions to his or her field. Successes may include but are not limited to research excellence and impact, leadership and innovation in industry or enterprise, or achievements in the arts and humanities and inspiring excellence in others.
  • Service to the community: The nominees must have demonstrated record of accomplishments which have changed the community for the better through professional, philanthropic, or voluntary action.
  • Contribution to AIMST University: The nominees must have significantly contributed to the University after his/her graduation that includes but not limited to, helping to build and grow AIMST brand, being a great role model for current students, mentoring current students in their field of expertise, contributing scholarships, providing career opportunities to the students, developing and/or reviewing curriculum.
  • Availability: In addition to the above criteria, the nominee must be available to attend in- person the convocation ceremony during which the award will be conferred to the nominee.

This award recognizes AIMST graduates who have reached the pinnacle of and are at the top of their professional career and have received recognition from their discipline. The nominee must fulfil the following criteria:

  • AIMST University Career: The nominees must be a graduate of AIMST University, having received a Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from AIMST University at least five (5) years prior to the nomination.
  • Professional/personal achievement: The nominees must have reached a standard of professional excellence that inspires their colleagues and peers. He/she must have achieved exceptional leadership in his/her profession and outstanding achievements that are recognized by the professional community
  • Contribution to AIMST University: The nominees must have significantly contributed to the University after his/her graduation that includes but not limited to, helping to build and grow AIMST brand, being a great role model for current students, mentoring current students in their field of expertise, contributing scholarships, providing career opportunities to the students, developing and/or reviewing curriculum.
  • Availability: In addition to the above criteria, the nominee must be available to attend in- person the convocation ceremony during which the award will be conferred to the nominee.

This award recognizes AIMST graduates who have had a transformative impact on those in their community, either on the local, national or international stage.

  • AIMST University Career: The nominees must be a graduate of AIMST University, having received a Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from AIMST University at least Five (5) years prior to the nomination.
  • Service to the community: The nominees must demonstrate extraordinary efforts that have made a positive impact on their community. Must have involved in community service or volunteer work within or outside of their professional discipline in a voluntary or charitable capacity that has engaged and inspired others.
  • Contribution to AIMST University: The nominee must have significantly contributed to the University after his/her graduation that includes but not limited to, helping to build and grow AIMST brand, being a great role model for current students, mentoring current students in their field of expertise, contributing scholarships, providing career opportunities to the students, developing and/or reviewing curriculum.
  • Availability: In addition to the above criteria, the nominee must be available to attend in- person the convocation ceremony during which the award will be conferred to the nominee.

This award recognizes AIMST graduates who have achieved important and promising accomplishments and have exceptional promise for future success;

  • AIMST University Career: The nominees must be a graduate of AIMST University, having received a Bachelor and/or Master’s degree from AIMST University at least Three to Five (3 - 5) years prior to the nomination.
  • Achievements: The nominees must have inspiring achievements or display innovative practices in their field and/or contributions that have had a transformative impact in their community.
  • Contribution to AIMST University: The nominees must have significantly contributed to the University after his/her graduation that includes but not limited to, helping to build and grow AIMST brand, being a great role model for current students, mentoring current students in their field of expertise, contributing scholarships, providing career opportunities to the students, developing and/or reviewing curriculum.
  • Availability: In addition to the above criteria, the nominee must be available to attend in- person the convocation ceremony during which the award will be conferred to the nominee.
